Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Permitted Use
The Oparbase platform is designed for legitimate business operations including lead management, job tracking, financial management, client and team communications, proposal generation, and related business activities. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these guidelines.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) through SMS, email, or AI calling features.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, other tenants' data, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate any person.
- Scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service through automated means without our written consent.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service, including row-level security policies or authentication mechanisms.
- Use AI features to generate fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content.
- Use outbound calling features (including AI-powered calls) outside of the permitted hours configured for your organization or in violation of telemarketing regulations (TCPA, DNC lists).
- Store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written authorization.
3. Content Standards
You are responsible for all content you upload, transmit, or create through the Service. Content must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not contain illegal, defamatory, or harmful material. AI-generated content (proposals, summaries, coaching recommendations) should be reviewed and approved by a qualified person before being sent to clients or used for business decisions.
4. Communication Compliance
When using communication features (SMS, email, AI outbound calls), you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and state-specific telemarketing regulations. You must obtain appropriate consent before contacting individuals and must honor opt-out and do-not-contact requests promptly. The platform provides tools to manage consent and opt-outs, but compliance is your responsibility.
5. Resource Usage
Each subscription plan includes usage limits for features such as AI proposals, API calls, file storage, and team members. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary feature restrictions or a request to upgrade your plan. You may not deliberately circumvent usage limits or abuse free trial periods.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this policy. Actions may include issuing warnings, temporarily suspending features, suspending your account, or permanently terminating your access to the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm to the Service or other users.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to abuse@oparbase.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
